Why should you elope?

is eloping right for you?

An elopement is an incredibly intimate, authentic and powerful wedding experience. You have the freedom to plan a day that truely reflects who you are. With no venue constraints or the logistics of a large number of guests to worry about, you can plan a wedding that is as unique as your love story.

If the idea of tradition and the 'norm' just doesn't appeal to you, then you will love being able to customise your day to include everything you want. Whether this is throwing on a backpack and hiking in to the mountains, sunset on a remote beach, or sunrise at a waterfall - the day is yours to create.

If you LOVE adventures in epic landscapes, then eloping will be right up your street... or mountain!

More intimate vows. Without the pressure of a room full of people watching, you can say what you truely want to.

Budget. Why feel the pressure to have a big fancy wedding with a hundred plus guests, when you can spend a fraction of that money on a wedding day of your dreams.

Screw tradition! You've never been someone who follows the crowd just because it's the 'norm'. Plan a wedding day you really want.

Where can we elope?

Can we have guests at our elopement?

Anywhere in NZ! Some popular NZ elopement locations are: Queenstown, Mt Cook, Coromandel, Ruapehu, Raglan, Bay of Islands. For some ideas check out this PAGE.

Yes, it's your wedding day so you choose! You may wish to elope with just me and celebrant, or invite friends and family (up to 10 guests). If you have more than 10 guests, you will need to start considering logistics with locations, and you may be better to look at a destination weddings. You can read more about Micro Weddings HERE.

Do you have all inclusive packages?

What is the best time of year to elope?

No two elopements are ever the same. The whole idea of eloping is to plan a unique day that reflects the two of you, so rather than offer couples a cookie cutter all inclusive package, I would prefer to work with you to help you choose what is important to include in your one of a kind wedding. Once I have an idea of your vibe, I can give you some local vendor recommendations from accomodation, florists, to celebrants. I am here to offer as much planning help as you need.

This really depends on where you want to get hitched - snowy mountains, lush green hills, or remote sandy beaches. Talk to me about the type of backdrop you want, and I can give you the best months to think about eloping there.

If you have chosen the date before the location because it is significant - like the date you met, then I can give you some options of locations that will work best for that month.
